EQUINOZIO

Equinox cream is specifically designed, thanks to mandelic acid, to provide a gentle peeling of the outer stratum corneum and deeply nourishes the skin. Peeling means removing the old layer of surface cells. The reduced presence of this horny layer allows greater penetration of oils and nutrients into the deeper dermal layer.

This means that the new cells in the epidermis will have structure and consequently look better. Used daily, it helps purify the skin and leaves hydrated and velvety skin. Ideal for skin problems such as acne and redness, it is also a fabulous re-programmer of the dermal papillae and a regulator of sebum production. It moisturizes and tones the skin, making it firm and toned.

Equinox is a night cream consisting of olive oil, prickly pear oil and mandelic acid, a perfect synergy of peeling and nourishing, antibacterial and mineralizing character. It removes dead cells and increases the elasticity of newly formed skin.

  Mandelic acid
  Mandelic acid was accidentally isolated during the heating of a bitter almond extract (containing amygdalin) diluted in hydrochloric acid The name ‘mandelic’ is derived from the word ‘mandel’, which means almond in German.
  It is part of the alpha-hydroxy acid family, molecules widely used in cosmetics to make exfoliating, lightening and antioxidant creams.

  Prickly pear oil
  It could simply be called the ‘elixir of youth’ because it is one of the most effective anti-wrinkle oils.
  It is a fantastic remedy for giving your skin and hair a new glow, because it is rich in essential fatty acids, omega 6, vitamin E and antioxidants. This is why it boasts regenerating, restructuring and firming properties. It also slows down the skin’s natural ageing process.

  Olive oil
